Dear Mustang Family,

Welcome to Eleanor Roosevelt Mustang Football. My coaching staff and I are very excited about our upcoming 2017-2018 season. Our Players have worked extremely hard in the off-season. We have improved daily and have acquired the skills and attitudes to complete at a championship level. 

This will be the second of many season for me as our program's Head Football Coach. I am proud to be a Mustang. My expectations for this year's team are high. I expect us to excel in school and on the football field. On the field we will compete one down at a time. In doing so, we expect to finish with a league and CIF Championship. In saying that, we will do everything with class. Our team is filled with high-character players who believe in themselves and each other. As you tune into our games you will witness a program whose players take pride in being an Eleanor Roosevelt Mustang. You will also witness a program that accepts the responsibility to bring a winning and classy tradition to Eleanor Roosevelt High School. This tradition will pass onto our younger Junior Varsity and Freshmen Teams. 

I want to thank our entire coaching staff and their families. We have a great coaching staff that has dedicated hours of their time away from their families for our program. I want to thank my wife Rosa who has made the sacrifice of me not being home so I can commit to our program. I am blessed to have five children (Taylor, Yvonne, Miguel, Jeweliet, and Tommy), all of whom have sacrificed their time with me so I can lead our program.

I would like to also thank all the hardworking booster members, parents, alumni, administration, staff, fans, and community for your support. Your support will make this program an elite program in the Inland Empire. United We Stand, Divided We Fall... #EastvaleStrong!
